Madison, WI – July 7, 2009. The Madison Mallards are excited to announce the team has partnered with the local Dairyland Dolls to feature an exciting Roller Derby bout at the “Duck Pond” on Saturday, August 22 at 6:05 p.m.

The Dairyland Dolls will take on the Minneapolis-based Northstar Rollergirls in a fast-action, hard-hitting matchup on a track placed in front of the Great Dane Duck Blind in right field.

Beginning this Wednesday, July 8, fans can purchase tickets for the event. General admission tickets will be only $8 while tickets in the Great Dane Duck Blind will be $30 for beer and $25 for soda. Reserved seating in the Duck Blind is $35 for beer and $30 for soda.

Also, tables for 8 people in the Duck Blind Club Level will be available for only $330.

Gates will open one hour prior to the start of the event at 5:05 p.m.

In 2006 the Mad Rollin’ Dolls wowed over 2,500 fans at the “Duck Pond” even after heavy rains pushed back the start of the bout 30 minutes.
