Milwaukee Brewers General Manager Doug Melvin will reflect upon the 2009 season and look ahead to the 2010 campaign in his annual “State of the Team” address at the Dugout Club banquet on Monday, January 18, to be held at the Madison Concourse Hotel downtown.
Madison, WI – January 11, 2010. The annual Dugout Club banquet fundraiser for local baseball teams will be held this Monday, January 18, at the Madison Concourse Hotel located downtown. Milwaukee Brewers General Manager Doug Melvin will headline the event and will give a “State of the Team” address to the crowd, followed by a Q&A session. Also in attendance will be Brewers third-base coach Brad Fischer, a native of nearby McFarland, and FSN Wisconsin play-by-play announcer Brian Anderson. The President of the Madison Mallards, Vern Stenman, will also speak about recent changes in Madison along with new and exciting developments for the 2010 season.
The banquet’s reception will begin at 5:45 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.
Individual tickets for the event are $50 and a table for 10 individuals can be purchased for $450. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Tuesday, January 12 at 8 p.m. Please call chairman Dick Anderson at 608.233.6435 to reserve a spot for this event and help support local baseball!
A silent auction with assorted great MLB, NFL, NBA, Wisconsin Badgers, and Madison Mallards’ items will be held throughout the night as well.
Also in attendance will be Mallards mascot Maynard G. Mallard.
