Mallards “First Pitch” Event scheduled
The team has also chosen Wednesday, April 21 for its fourth annual “First Pitch,” held at the Great Dane Hilldale location. The event, which features a preview of the team along with a special first-look at promotions set for the upcoming season, is free to the public and will begin at 6 p.m. The team will also announce exciting 2010 ballpark improvements scheduled to enhance fans’ game-day experience. Scheduled to speak is Mallards Owner Steve Schmitt, President Vern Stenman, and Manager C.J. Thieleke. The event will be broadcast live on FM 100.5 ESPN. Also, brats, hot dogs, and soda will be complimentary while supplies last. Beer will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
