Madison, WI – August 13, 2012. The Madison Mallards would like to extend thanks to all of the fans who supported the team at the “Duck Pond” in the 2012 season. In total 217,143 fans passed through the turnstiles, making this summer one of the most memorable in Mallards history.

Highlights this year for fans included two new additions to the ballpark in the Great Dane Duck Blind Club and Meriter and Physicians Plus Backyard. Both venues proved to be excellent adds to a stadium that has undergone a rapids transformation in the last three years. In addition the Mallards welcomed their 2,000,000th fan to the “Duck Pond” this year when JJ Streicher-Bremer entered through the gates.

The Madison Mallards are part of the 16-team Northwoods League. The Northwoods League has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other Summer Collegiate League in North America.
