Madison, WI – February 5, 2013.  The Madison Mallards will be hosting Kids Days & Kids Clinics again in 2013.

Meriter and Physicians Plus Kids Day

Meriter_PThe Kids Days, presented by Meriter and Physicians Plus, will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the “Duck Pond” on both Tuesday, June 25th and Thursday, July 18th.  

Kids Day includes activities such as kick ball, home run derby, face painting, balloon-animal stations, unlimited use of the Mallards inflatables (skee ball, bounce house, T-ball), mascot appearances and much more!  All kids in attendance will also receive a free ticket to that night’s Mallards game.  Lastly, each participant also receives a hot dog, bag of chips and soda for lunch that will be served between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm.  Kids Day is ideal for ages 4-12.

Kids Clinic

The Madison Mallards host baseball clinics for area players at the “Duck Pond.”  The clinics feature instruction from new Mallards Manager Donnie Scott and members of the Mallards team.  The clinics will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 27th and Tuesday, July 30th.  

Included in the fee is a free ticket to that night’s Mallards game and a hot dog, bag of chips and soda lunch that will be served after the clinic is over.  Both clinics will feature an emphasis in fundamental form and instruction, hitting and field work.  The clinics are ideal for ages 5-16.  Entry is $40 per participant for each clinic.  If a child signs up for both clinics it is $70.

The Madison Mallards are members of the 16-team Northwoods League.  The Northwoods League draws more fans, has more teams and plays more games than any other Summer Collegiate League in North America.  In 2013 the Northwoods League will celebrate its 20th season.
