(July 16) – Thursday evening’s matchup between the Madison Mallards (9-6, 29-12) and Lakeshore Chinooks (7-11, 24-26) has been postponed due to unplayable conditions produced by rain. To make up for Thursday’s rainout, the Mallards and Chinooks will partake in a double-header Friday afternoon at Warner Park.  

The first game of Friday’s twin-bill will begin at 5:05 p.m. and pick up where tonight’s contest paused prior to the rainout, with Lakeshore maintaining its 2-0 advantage in the bottom of the second inning. The second game will begin 30 minutes after the first. Game one will be nine innings. Game two will be seven innings. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m.

Tickets from tonight’s game can be redeemed at the Mallards ticket office for any home game remaining in the 2015 regular season. All Great Dane Duck Blind tickets can be redeemed for 50 percent off a future regular-season home game in the 2015 season.

Tomorrow’s game will be The Great Dane Summertime St. Patty’s Day at the park, featuring the ZOOperstars presented by Charter Communications. It will also be Bark in the Park Night and Unicycle Night at the Duck Pond. All hospitality food service will begin at 5:30 p.m., as originally scheduled.
