An hour before the game, a pop-up rainstorm postponed a matchup between the Madison Mallards (18-14) and the Kenosha Kingfish (20-12) at Simmons Field. Today was supposed to be the second game in a four game series between the two teams, with Madison winning last night’s contest 7-6. The teams won’t have to wait long to see each other again as tonight’s postponed game will morph with tomorrow’s matchup for a doubleheader with both games only seven innings in length. Simon Rosenblum-Larson (Harvard) will throw for the Mallards in game one opposite the Kenosha hurler Quinn Snarskis. Game one will commence at 4:05 PM with the second game starting 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first. Catch all the Mallards action live on 106.7 FM and 1670 AM The ZONE.
