Madison, Wis. – The game between the Madison Mallards and the Lakeshore Chinooks was postponed due to heavy rain that began in the bottom of the second inning. The Mallards held a 1-0 lead when rain forced the game to be delayed and eventually postponed to Tuesday, July 17 at 4:00 PM.
The game will continue from the bottom of the second inning and will be a full nine innings. Gates will open at 3:00 PM. The regularly scheduled July 17thgame will be played 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game and will be seven innings. Tickets for July 17thwill be good for both of the games.
All fans with tickets for tonight’s game will be able to exchange their tickets to any remaining game during the 2018 regular season, based on availability. Those with Great Dane Duck Blind general admission tickets will be able to exchange their ticket to today’s game for a half-price ticket in the Great Dane general admission area or for a free terrace seat for a future 2018 regular season game. Mallards sales representatives will contact all group leaders.
The Mallards are scheduled to be back in action tomorrow night at 6:05 PM against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Gates are scheduled to open at 4:30 PM and the game features Hy-Vee post-game fireworks and is also Wisconsin State Fair night. For tickets and more information visit mallardsbaseball.com.
