Mallards Announce Pride Night on June 29th Benefitting Local Partner GSAFE
Pride Night to feature local non-profits, Pride merchandise, and Drag Queens
The Mallards have announced their 2021 Pride Night for Tuesday, June 29th in partnership with local organization, GSAFE. A night of celebration and fun await, featuring Pride Hats, ticket proceed donations, and queens!
The Mallards have committed to donating a dollar from every ticket sold to Pride Night. “Once again the Madison Mallards are bringing their A-game as allies sharing their support for the local LGBTQ+ community,” said Brian Juchems, Co-Executive Director of GSAFE, “While others are bringing out their B-game, bullying trans and nonbinary youth and seeking to prevent them from participating in sports, it’s great to have the Mallards in their corner. GSAFE welcomes and is honored by this partnership with the Mallards and knows that a team succeeds best when everyone can bring their full, authentic self to the playing field.”
Starting at tonight’s home game, at 6:05, Mallards Pride Hats will be available in the Paul Davis Team Store and online. Twenty-five percent of each hat purchase will go back to the GSAFE organization, with these being available throughout the 2021 season.
The Mallards are excited to partner as well with some of Madison’s premier drag queens to bring sparkle and glamour to this amazing event!
“We want to continue to support all fans and create a space for everyone to feel at home at the Duck Pond,” said Director of Marketing, Cassidy Sepnieski. “Getting to amplify the great work that local LGBTQ+ organizations are doing within the Madison community and getting to have fun while doing it only makes it so much better.”
Tickets for Pride Night on June 29th are available at MallardsBaseball.com and Pride Hats are available starting tonight in person or online store at https://madison-mallards-257397.square.site/.
