Madison Mallards split their 6th series against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters coming up with a victory of 6-2. Mallards starter Eliot Turnquist (Ball State) pitched 4.1 scoreless innings, giving up only three hits. Alex Iadisernia (Elon) brings in the first run in the first inning on an unearned run.
Christian Horner (Palm Beach Atlantic) came in for the Mallards pitching 1.2 innings giving up one hit and one run, while Jack Canavaugh (Wisconsin-Milwaukee) get a single out to right field to eventually score on a sac fly hitting by Cam Critic (Missouri State)
Cam Cratic (Missouri State) brings in his second RBI of the game in the top of the sixth inning, bringing in Sam Vomhof (Wisconsin-Whitewater) for another Mallard earned run. In the seventh inning Matt Scannell (Princeton) and Kyle Bork (Minnesota) score two more runs for the Mallards, and at the top of the ninth inning Zach Storbakken (Madison College) brings in the sixth and final run for the Mallards bringing them to a six to two victory over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.
Next up the Mallards come back to the duck pond to face the Green Bay Booyah hoping to break their series splitting and aims of advancing their placements in the division.
