Get your Terrace Seat (200’s Level) and a Fudgy Flourless Brownie from Willy Street Co-op for Northside Day for ONLY $11!

Northside Day at the Duck Pond!

We can’t wait to host Northside Day at the Duck Pond Sunday, August 8 at 1:05! As we launched the new, Northside focused, Mallards branding this year we wanted to make sure we created some fun ways to showcase the Northside to our entire community.

Leading off, will be the unique food offerings from 8 Northside based food carts, that are partners with FEED Kitchens. El  Wiscorican, Cafe Costa Rica, Happy Kitchen, Sistas Chicken & Fish, Jolly Frog, Jasons Jerk and Propa Jerk are already confirmed with more carts still in the works. Each one will offer their typical offerings plus a hot dog topped in their special style. Each cart will keep 100% of the revenue from this event, thanks to the support of UW-Credit Union and the Willy St. Co-op!

Next up will be a special ticket offer for Northsiders. Fans can get a ticket and a Fudgy Flourless Brownie from the Willy St. Co-op for ony $11 with $1 of each of those tickets sold being donated to Briarpatch. Visit Mallardsbaseball.com for more details on how to purchase.

On top of that, eight Northside based non-profits will be tabling at the event to tell their stories to what is projected to be one of the biggest Mallards crowds of 2021!

Batting cleanup will be the 2020 recipients of Northstar Awards throwing out ceremonial first pitches and being recognized in a video on the Zimbrick Honda Videoboard pre-game!

We hope this event turns into an annual celebration of the Northside of Madison. 2021 has been a tough year for our entire community and the Mallards are proud to be a spot for people to come back together safely and return to normal. Hopefully, this night is meaningful for the businesses and community organizations that will be featured at the ballpark and we encourage you to support them during this special event at the ballpark.

The Mallards are always looking for fun ways to connect with the Northside. If you have any ideas or upcoming events that you’d like us to be a part of, please reach out anytime.

Thanks for your support during a crazy year and I look forward to seeing you at the ballpark for Northside Day on August 8!
