Mallards and Night Mares Earn Northwoods League Broadcasting Honors
Night Mares collect their first broadcasting awards while Mallards three-peat

The Madison Mallards and Night Mares are proud to announce that the organization has been awarded additional Northwoods League (NWL) broadcasting honors. For the third straight season, the Mallards were awarded Best Game Coverage. The Night Mares were awarded Best Game Coverage and Video Production Team of the Year. This season, the Mallards and Night Mares broadcast team members were Broadcaster Ian Paprocki, Producer Angeline Lombardi, and Camera Director Makenna Henry.

The NWL Best Video Production Game Coverage award is presented to a team in each division, as well as each baseball and softball league that is considered to consistently produce the best viewing experience of their games. The award is given to the organization that constantly broadcasts with high quality and requires a production team working together to ensure that the camera work, graphics, announcing, audio and additional attention to detail are at an elite level.

The Night Mares took home the Best Video Production Game Coverage award for the first time in team history, while the Mallards received the same honors for the third straight season.

The NWL Broadcast Team of the Year award goes to the team that exemplifies great teamwork, collaboration, creativity, and engagement throughout the season to continuously improve broadcasting operations as well as to correct deficiencies and issues quickly.

The Night Mares were recognized with the NWL Broadcast Team of the Year award for their coverage of the team’s 37-7 season, ending in the organization’s first NWL championship.

Group outings and sponsorship opportunities for the Mallards and Night Mares for the 2026 seasons are available now. More information can be found at mallardsbaseball.com and madisonnightmares.com.
