Madison, WI – August 4, 2009. Bring the kids this Friday; the Madison Mallards will debut a post-game “Candy Drop” in the outfield whereby thousands of pieces of candy-goodiness will be dropped from a 100′ lift located outside of the centerfield wall. Thanks to our friends at Quench Gum, 1,000 packs of gum will be dropped, along with a multitude of other candies that you normally find at the Mallards Candy Stand located in the concourse area.
Kids and parents (if need be) will be ushered onto the field upon completion of the Mallards vs. Eau Claire Express game on Friday.
Friday’s other promotions include the Dejope Gaming Little Bit of Vegas Night as The King will make a special appearance and Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar Mini Bat Night (first 500 kids, 14 & under). We’ll also announce who won the “Red Sox Experience” that includes roundtrip airfare and two tickets to the Red Sox vs. Yankees game on August 22!
