The Flying Mummies continue to build out a strong pitching staff, unwrapping two more arms in this week’s Mummies Unwrapped series—JT Huether and Parker Bleck.

JT Huether (RHP, Freshman) brings size and pedigree to the mound at 6’3”, 190 pounds. A Fort Myers, Florida native, Huether comes off a standout career at Canterbury School, where he helped lead his team to a 2025 Class 1A State Championship. He earned the team’s Cy Young Award along with First Team All-Area honors and a spot in the All-State game. With a strong baseball background—his father played professionally in the Minnesota Twins organization—Huether adds both upside and competitiveness to the Mummies’ rotation.

Joining him is Parker Bleck (RHP, Sophomore), a proven arm out of Appleton, Wisconsin. A former Conference Pitcher of the Year at Xavier High School, Bleck brings experience and production to the staff. At Bryant & Stratton University he appeared in seven games, making two starts while logging 32 innings with 43 strikeouts and four saves. He recently announced his commitment to Bradley University. His ability to miss bats and handle multiple roles on the mound gives the Mummies valuable flexibility.

With Huether’s high ceiling and Bleck’s proven effectiveness, the Flying Mummies continue to strengthen their pitching depth as the season approaches. Stay tuned as more talent is unwrapped in the weeks ahead.
