The Flying Mummies add two talented freshmen infielders to the roster in Colton Sims and Weston Mazey, each bringing a unique skill set and strong baseball background.

Colton Sims – INF | Leawood, Kan.
A 6-3, 200-pound infielder out of Shawnee Mission East, Sims arrives as one of Kansas’ top players. He earned First Team All-State honors and was named Rawlings First Team All-Region after helping lead his team to three 6A Regional appearances. Ranked the No. 1 third baseman in Kansas by Perfect Game, Sims brings size, power, and a high-level defensive presence. He plans to major in Sport Management and comes from a strong baseball family.

Weston Mazey – INF | Morgantown, W.Va.
Mazey, a 5-8 switch-hitting infielder, brings advanced instincts and a deep understanding of the game. The son of longtime Division I head coach Randy Mazey, he grew up around college baseball and developed a strong feel for the game early on. He is working toward a degree as a forensic examiner.

With Sims’ physical tools and Mazey’s baseball IQ, the Mummies continue to build a well-rounded and competitive roster for the future.
