Purpose:
To be involved with the Royal Oak community and civic groups (Chamber of Commerce, Optimists, Lions, Rotary clubs) and to establish relationships and talk with the community about new ideas and suggestions for the Leprechaun program.  A member will join a civic group or participate in Community Advisory Board meetings with ideas and suggestions for the Leprechaun program.

Meeting Frequency:
The Advisory Board Community will meet the first Monday evening of each even month (six meetings) at 7:00 p.m. This group will receive a $900 stipend per year to be used for meetings at a Royal Oak restaurant to be determined.

Member responsibilities and expectations:
To participate in a civic group or a group’s activity to connect the Leprechauns to the community and/or to share suggestions and ideas at each Community Advisory Board meeting.  It is expected that each member brings information to assist in the development of the organization.

Membership Guidelines:
It is expected that each member attends a minimum of four of the six meetings for the Community Advisory Board and membership is limited to 15 people.  They are expected to bring information to assist in the development of the organization to continue membership in this community group.

Membership term:
An Advisory Board Community member will have a one-year term and is renewable each year if above noted expectations are met with up to 15 members on this board.

Member removal:
Membership guidelines are based on attendance and participation. Removal from the board will be handled by the Royal Oak Leprechaun Chairman of the Board with recommendations from the administrator and support of the other committee members.
