Jason Vosler of the Thunder Bay Border Cats has been recognized for his solidglove work capturing the Rawlings "Finest in the Field" Award as the best defensive third baseman for the 2013 Northwoods League season.

Vosler played in 66 games and made just eight errors for a .964 fielding percentage.  The native of West Nyack, NY., had a productive season at the plate as well, hitting .275 with 15 doubles, seven home runs and 47 runs batted in.  The 20-year old is currently in his junior season at Boston's Northeastern University.

It's the fourth consecutive year a Border Cats player has been named to the best defensive team. Shortstop Brett Kay won the award in 2011 and 2012 and first baseman Ty Wosleger and outfielder Tanner Nivens were selected in 2010.
