The Border Cats saw their record slip to 0-2 with a 7-4 loss to the St. Cloud Rox before a daytime crowd of 921 fans Wednesday at Tbaytel Park.  St. Cloud had a 4-1 lead before the Cats tied the game with a three-run 6th inning, which included an RBI double by Taylor Patterson (St. Cloud State), a run scoring single by Carter McEachern (Trinity University) and a bases loaded walk to Tyler Rolland (Southern Illinois University).  The Rox replied right back in the top of the 7th with three runs on a bases loaded walk, a hit batter and an infield single to win it.  Patterson was Thunder Bay's top hitter with a 2-4 day at the plate.  Yuji Suzuki (Concordia University) started for the Cats and pitched five innings, allowing two runs.  The Toronto native gave up six hits with one walk and one strikeout.  Wes Helsabeck (Winston Salem State University) took the loss in relief.  The Cats continue their four-game homestand Thursday when they welcome the Duluth Huskies to Tbaytel Park.  First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm.  Righthander Zack Speer (Trinity University) will pitch for Thunder Bay.
