CATS SHUT OUT BY STINGERS 

In day two of a four-day series the Border Cats were shut down by Willmar in a 7-0 loss dropping the Cats record to 10-10.

Willmars Will Lyndon (University of the Pacific) fired a 2 hitter with 4 strikeouts as he ran his record to a perfect 4-0. Kyle Von Ruden (University of Hawaii) took his second loss as a Cat pitching the first four innings allowing six runs on eight hits while striking out three.

Cats two hits were a bunt single by Cater McEachern (Trinity University) and a double by Mikael Mogues (Seton Hall).

Thunder Bay looks to pick up a win tomorrow in day three against Willmar Wednesday night at TbayTel Park at 7:05pm EST.
