CATS BLANKED BY BLUE ANCHORS

The Border Cats lost 8-0 to the Alexandria Blue Anchors Friday night at TbayTel Park pushing the Cats record below .500.

Starting pitcher Julien Loret De Mola (Nova Southeastern) went the first 4.1 innings allowing five runs on seven hits while striking out one. While Mikael Mogues (Seton Hall) pitched the next 3.2 innings allowing the final three runs including Nehwon Norkeh (Angelo State) two run homer.

The Cats hope to split the series with Alexandria Saturday night at TbayTel Park at 6:05pm.
