LORET DE MOLA’S COMPLETE GAME SHUTOUT LEADS CATS TO VICTORY

The Cats took home the win in game one of their two game series against the Waterloo Bucks with a 3-0 win Saturday night at TbayTel Park.

Julien Loret de Mola (Nova Southeastern) pitched his first complete game to pick up his second win of the season. Loret de Mola went all nine innings allowing only five hits while striking out five.

Jared James (Long Beach State) notched his first home run in a Border Cats jersey while Joe Gellenbeck (Xavier University) and Grant McKown (Florida Tech) also put runs on the board for the Cats.

The Cats look to sweep the Bucks Sunday night at TbayTel Park at 5:05pm.
