CATS SHUTOUT MOONDOGS          

The Cats took the win Tuesday night in game one of a two game series in Mankato with a shutout score of 4-0. The win brings the Cats overall record up to 20-22.

Starting pitcher Jeremy Charles (Hartford) notched his fourth win with Thunder Bay allowing only three hits over the course of seven innings while striking out four. Greg Weissert (Fordham) picked up his first save of the year pitching the last 0.2 innings.

Max Dutto (California – Berkley) put up one run on three hits and one RBI in his first appearance as a Border Cat while Tyler Green (Vanderbilt) also picked up a run in his first appearance for Thunder Bay.

The Cats look to end their road trip with a win in Mankato Wednesday night at 7:05pm CST / 8:05pm EST.
