ROX CLIP BORDER CATS

The Border Cats fell 10-9 in a hard fought game to the first place St. Cloud Rox Monday night at TbayTel Park.

Starting pitcher Cole Stapler (Nicholls) started the game off strong going five innings allowing only three runs on five hits while striking out seven while Kenny Glover Jr (Savannah State) was handed his first loss allowing two runs on three hits.

Max Dutto (California) put up his second home run of the season in the bottom of the eighth inning leading the Cats for the night with two runs on two hits and three RBI’s, while Bryce Jorgenson (Lakehead) put up his first run and first hit of the season for two runs and one RBI.

The Cats continue the two game series Tuesday at 1:35pm EST at TbayTel Park.
