CATS FALL TO HUSKIES 

The Cats fell 4-2 in their second last game of the year to the Duluth Huskies. The loss means that the 2015 Border Battle Champion is the Duluth Huskies and pushes the Border Cats record to 32-38 for the season.

Starting pitcher Jimmy Murphy (Fordham) took the loss for the Cats going five innings allowing only two runs on six hits while striking out two. Cole Stapler (Nicholls) came in for the last four innings allowing no runs on four hits while striking out three.

Jared James (Long Beach) picked up another run on two hits while the other run coming from Jacob James (Augustana).

The Cats close out the season against the Duluth Huskies Sunday night at TbayTel Park at 5:05pm EST.
