EXPRESS SWEEP CATS
Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Eau Claire Express swept the Thunder Bay Border Cats Monday night at TbayTel Park.
Despite a strong 6.1 innings pitched by the returning pitcher Gunnar Kay (Jefferson College) the Cats lost 6-2. Kay allowed only one run and two walks while striking out five to start the game out. Riley Bernsdorf (St. Scholastica) put the Cats on the board with both runs during Monday nights game.
The Border Cats look for a win Tuesday night against the St. Cloud Rox at TbayTel Park at 7:05pm.
