CATS SWEPT BY WATERLOO
Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Border Cats fell in their last game of their road trip to the Waterloo Bucks Sunday afternoon.
The Waterloo Bucks outlasted the Thunder Bay Border Cats to win 9-8 Sunday afternoon at Riverfront Stadium. Newcomer Cameron Churchill (Nova Southeastern) impressed the Cats pitching six innings walking only two. Shane Shepard (North Carolina) and Andrew Fregia (Sam Houston) helped the Cats out with one home run a piece.
The Border Cats return home Tuesday at 7:05pm EST to face the Lacrosse Loggers at TbayTel Park.
