CATS CAPTURE WIN

Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Thunder Bay Border Cats picked up their third win in Rochester, Minnesota Tuesday night beating the Honkers 5-3.

Jordan Thompson (Ridgewater) picked up his first win going seven innings allowing only two runs on six hits while striking out three. Vinny Santarsiero (Fontbonne) notched the first save of the season pitching the last inning striking out two. Andy Weber (Virginia) has another notable game putting up two runs on three hits for Thunder Bay while Mitch Bigras (Boston College) also helped out Thunder Bay with one run on two hits and two RBI.

The Border Cats head to Duluth for a double header at 12:00pm CST / 1:00 EST and 6:35pm CST / 7:35pm EST before retuning home to Thunder Bay.
