CATS SPLIT SERIES WITH WILLMAR

Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Cats fell 6-5 n the final game of a four-day series to the Willmar Stingers Sunday evening.

Anthony Brocato (St. John’s) hit his fifth home run of the season in the bottom of the ninth to shrink Willmar’s lead to only one run. Andy Weber (Virginia) also put up two runs on two hits with one RBI while Jesse Lee (Rhode Island) notched two runs off his three hits Sunday night.

The Border Cats start a four day road trip in Mankato against the Moondogs Monday night at 6:05pm CST / 7:05 EST.
