CATS SPLIT WITH WATERLOO

Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Border Cats split their series with the Waterloo Buck losing their game Saturday night 5-2.

Cameron Churchill (Nova Southeastern) was handed his first loss of the season going five innings striking out three and allowing 10 hits. Shane Shepard (North Carolina) notched his fourth home run of the season putting Thunder Bay on the board while Andy Weber (Virginia) was the other Border Cat to earn a run.

The Border Cats start a new series against the Wisconsin Woodchucks Sunday night at 5:05pm at TbayTel Park.
