CATS DOUBLE WISCONSIN FOR A WIN
Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Cats captured their third win of the second half with a 4-2 victory of the Wisconsin Woodchucks Sunday night.
Shannon Broussard (Cedar Valley) picked up his first win of the season going five innings allowing only two runs on four hits while Ben Hoffman earned his first save closing out the last four innings allowing only two hits while striking out four.
Anthony Brocato (St. John’s) has officially taken the Border Cats lead for most home runs so far picking up his sixth of the season. Newcomer Luke Horanski (Cisco) notched his first run with the Border Cats helping the team keep their lead.
The Border Cats close out their home stand against Wisconsin Woodchucks Monday night at 7:05pm at TbayTel Park.
