PAPIERSKI WALKS OFF RAPIDS RAFTERS

Thunder Bay, Ont. – Michael Papierski (LSU) gave the Cats their second walk off of the year Saturday night against Wisconsin Rapids Rafters with a final score of 2-1.

Starting pitcher Gunnar Kay (Jefferson) went a solid 8.1 innings allowing only one run on five hits and four strikeouts. Vinny Santarsiaro (Fontbonne) notched his second win of the year closing out the  ast 1.2 innings.

The Border Cats finish their series against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters Sunday night at TbayTel Park at 5:05pm.
