HONKERS SHUT OUT CATS

Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Rochester Honkers blanked the Thunder Bay Border Cats 3-0 Thursday night at Mayo Field.

Brandon Langan (New Mexico) had an impressive outing going six innings allowing only three runs while striking out five. Langan managed to minimize the amount of runs scored by getting out of a bases loaded situation in both the first and second inning as well as striking out Drew Ellis (Louisville) with two runners on base in the fifth.

The Border Cats look for a win against the Honkers Friday night at Mayo Field at 7:05pm CST / 8:05pm EST.
