Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Thunder Bay Border Cats fell 6-5 to the Rochester Honkers Friday night at Mayo Field.

Starting pitcher Gunnar Kay (Jefferson) went 7.2 innings allowing six runs on nine hits while striking out four. Bobby Honeyman (Stony Brook) picked up one run on two hits and three RBI during the evening to give the Cats a lead.

The Border Cats start a new series against the St. Cloud Rox Saturday night at 6:05pm CST / 7:05pm EST.
