THUNDER BAY WINS
Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Thunder Bay Border Cats added another win in the second half beating the Rochester Honkers 10-4.
Starting pitcher Shannon Broussard (Cedar Valley) started the game off strong going six innings allowing only four runs on six hits while striking out nine Honkers while Ben Hoffman (Monmouth) came in for the last three innings allowing only one hit while striking out four.
Anthony Brocato (St. John’s) had another productive game notching three runs on four hits and one RBI in four at bats, while Bobby Honeyman (Stony Brook) picked up two runs on two hits and Mitch Bigras (Boston College) helped the Cats with one run on two hits and two RBI. Shane Shepard (North Carolina State) put up three runs on one hit.
The Border Cats play their last game at home Sunday August 7th at 5:05pm at Tbaytel Park.
