THE ROAD TRIP IS OVER!
The Thunder Bay Border Cats finally finished off their three week long road trip Friday night in Waterloo Iowa. The Cats did not fare well as they lost 11-1 in six innings. The game was then called due to weather.
It was a tough night for the Border Cats as the Bucks managed to score nine runs combined in the third and fourth innings. This created a massive lead for the Bucks that the Cats simply could not come back from.
Aside from the game, the Border Cats did a tremendous job on the road! It’s not easy being on the road for three weeks straight and on a bus every other day. To play the way the Cats did we all owe them well for representing our city – Thunder Bay – the way they did.
The Cats now make the long trip back to Thunder Bay to finally host the Home Opener at Port Arthur Stadium! The Cats will have an incredible welcome home party come game time as there have already been 1200 tickets sold. Make sure if you want to be a part of this welcome home party to get your tickets as soon as possible before game time tomorrow at 6PM. The box office will open at 11AM and will stay open until the game starts. You can also call 766-2287 to reserve your seats. GO CATS GO!
