BIG 6TH INNING PROPELS BORDER CATS PAST LARKS
The Thunder Bay Border Cats scored 5 in the 6th led by Braden Mosley’s 3 run home run as the Border Cats defeat the Bismarck Larks 5-2 to even the 4-game series. Mosley finished 1-3 with a walk and now has 3 homers on the season. Noah Strohl and Gabriel Lozada provided the other 2 RBI in the inning. Bismarck opened the scoring in the 1st on a 2 RBI single by Scooter Bynum, but the Border Cats pitching staff consisting of Patrick Ryan, Jesse Bogacz, and Evan Johnson shut down the Larks over the last 8 innings giving up no runs and just 3 hits. Billy Cook led Thunder Bay with 2 hits in the game. Game 3 of the series goes Saturday night which is presented by Intercity Shopping Centre. 1st pitch is at 6:05.
