Cats Fall to Bucks 9-4

After a long drive down to Waterloo Iowa, the Thunder Bay Border Cats fell 9-4 to the Waterloo Bucks. The Bucks held an 8-0 lead entering the top of the fifth inning before the Cats scored four runs to put a little pressure on the Bucks. The Cats managed to combine for nine hits while the Bucks had 13. Of the nine hits, six came from Braden Mosley, JF Garon, and Colton Thomas. The three Cats also managed to combine for all of the Cats RBI on the night.

On the mound, Brandon Williamson took the loss for the Cats while Anthony Ruden picked up the win for the Bucks. In the fourth inning infielder, Kevin Biondic took to the mound and pitch five innings while allowing only two runs.

The loss moves the Cats second half record to 5-9. The Cats will look to get back in the win column tomorrow versus the same Bucks with first pitch scheduled for 3:05PM. Make sure to follow our Twitter @tbbordercats for up to the minute updates.
