Border Cats Go Quietly to End Winning Streak

In the second game of a two game series, the Lacrosse Loggers beat the Thunder Bay Border Cats 5-0. The Cats were unable to get much going offensively as they only managed three base hits. Hunter Davis pitched into the seventh inning for the Loggers striking out six Cats and not allowing the Cats to get in the game while picking up the win. For the Cats, Connor Centala started the game on the mound and went six innings allowing four earned runs but picked up the loss. The three hits for the Cats came from Andy Weber, Brendan Dougherty, and Nick Caldeen.

The loss ends the Cats three game winning streak. The Cats will now travel to Eau Claire to take on the Express in a two game series before moving on to Rochester. Make sure to follow along on Twitter @tbbordercats for up to the minute updates.
