Larks Dominate Border Cats
In the second game of the season, the Border Cats (0-2) lost 10-1 to the Bismarck Larks (2-0). The Cats never had a chance to get into the game as the Larks scored 6 runs in the first inning followed by two more in the second. Larks pitcher Cruz Daddario pitched a solid game going 7 2/3 with eight strikeouts and picked up the win. On a positive note, Jayden Metz entered the game from the bullpen in the third inning and pitched very well. He stayed in the game until the eighth inning allowing only one run and striking out nine.
