Following Wednesday’s rainout against Duluth, Cole Ketzner (pictured), and the Border Cats will play two games against the Huskies on Thursday in a twi-night doubleheader starting at 5:35pm.
The Thunder Bay Border Cats and Duluth Huskies had their Northwoods League game postponed Wednesday due to rain and wet field conditions at Port Arthur Stadium. The two teams will be play a twi-night doubleheader today with the first game starting at 5:35pm. Gates open at 4:30pm and both games of the twinbill are scheduled for seven innings.
The scheduled starting pitchers for the Border Cats are Japanese righthander Kansai Sugimoto (Yavapai CC) and Julian Parson (University of South Carolina-Upstate). Parson, a righthander from Mississauga, Ont., will be making his season debut.
