Tonight’s Thunder Bay Border Cats-La Crosse Loggers Northwoods League game scheduled for Friday, July 12, at Port Arthur Stadium has been postponed.

The Border Cats team bus experienced mechanical issues shortly after departing Waterloo, Iowa, late Thursday night following their game with the Bucks.  With an 850-kilometre trip back to Thunder Bay, the team won’t not return in time for the scheduled 6:35pm start this evening.

The Cats and Loggers will play a doubleheader on Saturday, July 13, beginning at 4:05pm ET.  Both games are scheduled for seven innings with a one-hour break in between the twin bill for a country concert featuring Pretty Ugly on the Wakefield Oil Change Plus/OPS Party Deck.

Fans holding tickets dated Friday, July 12, can redeem them for any other 2024 regular season game, including Saturday’s doubleheader as it’s a single admission, and subject to same seat availability.
