Congratulations to Thunder Bay Border Cats catcher/designated hitter Jackson Cooke (University of Tennessee at Martin) and pitcher Max Ramirez IV (Niagara University) on being selected to the Great Plains Team for the 2024 Northwoods League All-Star Game Tuesday, July 23, in Mankato, Minnesota. Cooke is hitting .288 in 20 games with five home runs and 24 runs batted in. Ramirez is a perfect 5-0 with one save and has not allowed an earned run in eight appearances this season.
