Inclement weather in St. Cloud has wiped out the final game of the Thunder Bay Border Cats’ week-long road trip.

The Thursday evening clash between the Border Cats and St. Cloud Rox has been cancelled due to rain and wet field conditions at Joe Faber Field.

With the two teams not scheduled to face each other again this season, the game has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

Thunder Bay returns home with a first half record of 18-12. The Border Cats won three of the five games played on their road trip.

The Border Cats return to Port Arthur Stadium on Friday to kick off a six-game homestand, hosting the Mankato MoonDogs for the first of a pair, with lefthander Cameron Johnson (Rutgers University) the expected starting pitcher. It’s 80’s night presented by 99.9 The Bay. The game will be a ‘‘Flyaway Friday’ with one lucky fan winning two tickets for anywhere Porter Airlines flies.
