THUNDER BAY FINISHES WITH A SPLIT

Thunder Bay, Ont. – Despite a solid performance from starting pitcher Jordan Thompson (Ridewater) the Cats fell 4-1 to the Wisconsin Woodchucks Monday night. Thompson went six innings allowing only two runs on five hits while striking out four.

Joe Gellenbeck (Xavier) was the one to put Thunder Bay on the board notching his first home run this season.

The Border Cats face the Eau Claire Express at 6:35pm CST / 7:35pm EST Tuesday night in Eau Claire Wisconsin.
