CATS CAPTURE A WIN

Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Border Cats picked up their seventh win of the second half of the season Tuesday night against the Waterloo Bucks with an 11-7 win.

Shane Shepard (North Carolina State) helped the Cats jump out to an eight run lead in the fourth inning hitting a grand slam. Shepard finished three for four with five RBI and three runs. Joe Gellenbeck (Xavier) also hit his fourth home run in his second season with Thunder Bay.

The Border Cats finish their home stand against the Waterloo Bucks Wednesday night at 7:05pm EST at Tbay Tel Park.
