THUNDER BAY SWEPT

Thunder Bay, Ont. – The St. Cloud Rox swept The Border Cats this weekend finishing 2-1 both nights.

Joey Burris (Southeast Missouri) took the loss for the Cats Saturday night going 4.2 innings allowing five hits while Cameron Churchill (Nova Southeastern) was handed the loss Sunday evening allowing only three hits over six innings.

Bobby Honeyman (Stony Brook) was the one to bring home Anthony Brocato (St. John’s) for the lone run Saturday night and Michael Papierski (LSU) drove home Bobby Fulkerson (South New Hampshire) for the only run Sunday night.

The Border Cats face the Duluth Huskies in a long weekend double header with the first game starting at 1:35pm EST and the second game to follow at 7:05pm EST at TbayTel Park.
