Green Bay, WIS – After losing the first game in Wednesday’s doubleheader 5-4, The Wisconsin Woodchucks were shut out 3-0 by the Green Bay Bullfrogs at Joannes Stadium in the nightcap.

The second game of the twin bill started off much like the first contest. The Bullfrogs took a 3-0 lead behind individual runs in the first, third and fifth innings.

Wisconsin had just two hits in the ballgame, and no Woodchuck advanced past second base. Taylor Kohlwey and Jared Oliva each had a single.

Reagan Biechler got the start for the Chucks and gave up just four hits and two runs in three innings of work. Jake McMahon followed him with three innings of his own, which included no earned runs and just one hit. Anthony Badalucco and Tim McElroy each threw a scoreless inning in relief as well.

Sam Brunner carried the Bullfrogs on the mound. He threw seven innings with no earned runs, two hits and seven strikeouts.

With the loss the, Wisconsin dropped to 10-15 on the second half of the season. The Woodchucks return to Athletic Park tomorrow to take on the Kenosha Kingfish at 7:05 p.m.
