Back-to-back Losses Against Mallards
MADISON, Wis. – Madison used two first-inning runs to guide themselves the rest of the way in Tuesday’s 3-1 win over Wausau at Warner Park.
A Jake Goolsby (Charlotte) two-run home run for Madison (15-12/30-30) in the first and adding another in the fourth was enough to guide them to a 30th overall win.
Wausau’s (9-16/29-31) only run came from the bat of Trent Van Ess (UW-Stevens Point) who hit his first home run of the season in the seventh.
The eighth straight loss continues the season-long skid.
