The Wausau Woodchucks defeated the Lakeshore Chinooks 9-1 in last nights matchup. Tyler Smith (University of South Alabama) earned the win throwing six scoreless innings with five strikeouts allowing two walks and two hits. Smith earned the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night award. Smith has now earned the award in back to back starts, and his season ERA dropped to 0.45 in 20 IP.
