Proper use of commercials for fill, correct commercials as provided by league. Seemless transitions between studio, local, commercials and live location. Ends after national anthem with time for first set of starters. Good use of supporting video and graphics. Talent in sync with directors. Audio clean and balanced throughout all parts. No headwear or sunglasses on talent. Background looks like baseball but doesn’t give away the time of the recording.
  • Proper execution of starters graphics, lower thirds and scoring graphics. Proper execution of due up batters and bump in scoring graphics. Directors in sync with talent in and out of commercial breaks. Sound is working on graphics with music. Proper use of leaders and standings graphics. Proper use of the ticker. Shot decisions are appropriate. Zooms and camera movement are appropriate and necessary. Camera 2 image is crisp. Camera 2 is properly zoomed and framed. Cameras are properly setup, and technically solid.
  • Skype always on so window pops up when contacted by NWL administrators. Team responds as soon as possible or practical given game circumstances. Responses are appropriate and efficient.
  • Announces strictly for television and avoids “radio announcing”. Overall feel is appropriate to the game. Comments on calls, players, umpires and coaches are positive and appropriate. Pauses are appropriate and allow webcast to breathe. Announcer references video being shown and avoids being overly descriptive. Maintains energy and enthusiasm appropriate to the situation.
